Firms switch to us, and stay.

Most of our customers came to InTime because they were changing their technology and decided not to compromise on the middle. This is what they say and what switching involved.

What changed for them.

Near 50% more efficient

"Following numerous acquisitions, we had multiple pay and bill solutions with no commonality. We looked for something that suited the company we’d become and would support our growth, and InTime was the software of choice. During implementation the team were embedded with our own project team, which was key to a smooth go-live. Since implementing InTime we've recognised at least a 25% improvement on processing times, streamlined resource by a third, and are near 50% more efficient. We welcome the openness of the relationship: across account management, support and implementation, we get quick, honest responses. A true partnership." -  Gi Group

99.5% paid on time

"Lorien implemented InTime in 2017, and since going live it has delivered an improved candidate experience and easier processing of timesheets, payments and billing. After seeing the benefits, we rolled it out to our other STEM brands, Carbon60 and SRG. Moving our contractor base from advice-note invoicing to self-bill has been crucial to our growth. All our candidates now have full visibility of the timesheet and expense process, which has greatly reduced inbound queries and lifted productivity across our back-office team. The compliance controls let us pay contractors on time, accurately and compliantly. As a direct result, we are paying workers on time 99.5% of the time." - Lorien, part of Impellam Group

Integrated with Bullhorn

"The ability to integrate with Bullhorn and our finance database was crucial to us. Using InTime has completely turned around our processes: self-bill has streamlined our payroll, and having everything online means no more paper timesheets or filing, greatly reducing the time it takes to run payroll. Its flexibility around reporting and search means we get any information we need, quickly. In 2021 we expanded by opening offices in the USA, Ireland and the Netherlands, and InTime played a big part, managing our pay and bill across all agencies robustly and effectively." - Quanta

What moving involves.

InTime has run pay and bill implementations for over a decade, for some of the UK’s largest recruiters. Every one follows the same steps, built around your business and run alongside your team with a dedicated implementation consultant.

More than a supplier.

A UK team that knows recruitment pay and bill, a dedicated account management team, and development requests that go straight to the people who build the product. You keep your own demo system, so changes are tested before they touch a live pay run. The product keeps developing, and it keeps pace with legislation, so what you buy now keeps working as the rules change and you grow. Most customers stay for years, several through more than one acquisition, bringing InTime with them.

“We have a genuine partnership built on mutual trust and collaboration, present throughout, from pre-sale through to going live.” — Rullion

Customers questions, answered

Why do recruitment agencies switch pay and bill software?

Agencies usually switch when their current setup can't keep up: disconnected systems, manual workarounds, errors in pay or billing, or a platform that won't scale as they grow or acquire. The trigger is often growth, an acquisition, technology change, or a compliance risk the old system makes harder to manage. They move to software that handles the complexity automatically, connects to the systems they already run, and scales with them.

How hard is it to switch pay and bill software?

Less than most agencies expect. A switch follows a set implementation, run alongside your team, with your data imported and everything tested before it goes live. Most of the effort is configuration and testing, not disruption to your pay runs, and you keep your own demo system to test changes safely afterwards.

How long does it take to implement pay and bill software?

It depends on complexity, the number of integrations, the pay types involved and how much data moves across. The process is the same either way: planning, integration, training, testing and sign-off, scoped with you before anything’s signed. A single-brand setup goes live faster than a multi-brand group with several integrations.
